My name is Kat and I am the designer and sewer behind KLD. KLD is a one-woman shop that designs and hand makes custom bike bags in Golden, CO. Every bike is different, just like every rider, so why not have a frame bag that meets those standards too? Each and every frame bag is designed and built with individuality and personality in mind!

I use the highest quality materials and follow strict sewing standards to ensure KLD bags and will hold up no matter what situation you get into on two wheels, or three or four! No rips, broken zips or tears here.

I started sewing at the age of ten on my mom’s 1953 Singer sewing machine that was built into a vintage folding table. Since then I have been sewing to some capacity, and in 2018 I built my first frame bag for my mountain bike out of necessity to carry more on long Pisgah rides.

I am an avid cyclist, testing out my products on local trails, town cruises and several longer expeditions, including the Baja Divide and Great Divide Mountain Bike Route.
